Snakebite Flipper Cards
In July 2022, our team members from Save The Snakes and Hoedspruit Reptile Centre participated in the creation of and attended the first snake bite symposium in South Africa.
The focus was on effective treatment of snakebite. One of the outcomes was the creation of the snake bite emergency flipper cards (Emergency Care Provided, Hospital Care Provider and Layman).
These were created by medical professionals and snake experts. And they are a must for anyone living close to snakes.
