School's Project
Our School's Project is a core part of how we hope to make a difference in changing the perspectives of school learners about snakes. Through this project we build relationships with learners to educate them about why snakes are important, snakebite first-aid and what to do when they find a problem snake. We currently have an exciting partnership with Global Conservation Corps to implement our school education project and we hope to make many more such partnerships.
Some photos from our visit to the local schools in Hoedspruit Town. The groups include Grade 7's from Southern Cross School and Grade 11's and 12's from Hoedspruit High School.
The rural community schools that we had a chance to visit as part of our partnership with Global Conservation Corps and Timbavati Foundation has been a huge success.
